I'm really enjoying this newest edition of Flames of War and am wondering if anyone has heard rumors of what army book may be coming next. |

I asked them at Little Wars when we might see info on the Italians. They said next year. So I'm guessing Soviets will be next up. |

According to my LGS, Mid War US are up next then Italians. Eastern Front maybe later part of 2018. Alan |

Let's hope they are better than the last lot of lists that were worse than poor. Regards Jez |

It sounds like they are going to alternate between FoW and TY. So TY Soviets wave 2 is next once the current FoW stuff is finished then FoW US then TY US wave 2 then FoW Italians. We have rumours for Eastern Front, TY Canada and Australia and extra books for FoW Brits and Germans to cover stuff they left out of the new book. |

Yeah, this is my year of the GI. I´m looking for mid-war and TY US. We've GOT to get some ADA assets!!!!! And the M1A1 wouldn't go amiss either. Yeah, we have the kit to build it but we need the stats! I like the new soft-plastic Brits and I hope the US gets the same treatment. Spending $9.00 USD for a platoon is pretty nice. |

I can finally rest easy, seeing a veritable plethora of Flames of War books on the horizon, that I don't have to buy any. I'm very happy with my 3rd ed books, and see no need to follow the 4th ed lemmings, like some Warhammer fanboy every time there's a new edition. Way back in the previous century, there was a minor popularity of "Confucius say" jokes. Here's one that applies. "Confucius say there are two kinds of Fool. The first says this is good because it is old. Second Fool says this is better because it is new." I'm in the first camp. |

I remember some people making comments when the second edition rolled along. "It's just the final adjustment of the rules, they are perfect as they are, Battlefront promised not to spam us with new books every few years." And when you bring up the subject, you get the usual "It's not how you think it is ! You've got it all wrong." |

I would have thought midway eastern front. This is the 75th anniversary of Stalingrad. And they have stated that the books currently for third edition are usable just as they are. So no worries really. |

I was under the impression that the Pacific books covered the entire war? After all, the Marines are flying Corsairs, which means from December 1942 on. I just hope that the Africa books get better. I'm still really tempted to just use the v3 Africa books and convert what needs to be converted. |

It really chaps my ass that they will be taking another year before any Soviets are released. All I have is Soviets and my LGS is playing exclusively MW V4 and if I want to join in I'm always having to borrow someone's figures. |

I want to play mid war desert but the 2 poor books they have issued so far just aren't enough. Not to mention that my axis army is Italian :( |

I'm sure they will get to re releasing all of the books. They have to make sure that we need to replace everything every couple of years. Planned obsolescence. Great marketing ploy! Cheers! |
