"This is one of several sets of eight 32mm scale resin miniatures, complete with scenic bases to expand your missions."

Think I will buy a set of these, paint them, and then:

TREKKIE ZOMBIECIDE!!!

Escape from the convention center…

Mako1126 May 2017 1:26 p.m. PST

Some of those are even recognizable.

Hope they do some more generic "red shirts", for surveying planets.

Dynaman878926 May 2017 1:41 p.m. PST

Where's Wesley?

jfleisher26 May 2017 4:53 p.m. PST

Where's Riker?

Who is the guy in the back, center?

Mako1126 May 2017 5:13 p.m. PST

Deanna might have eaten him.

She's carrying and reaching for that box of Ho-ho's in her hand.

"Where's Riker?

I don't think Jonathan Frakes/Will Riker had a beard in the early episodes.

I'm with ZoC, the Riker character didn't get a beard until he got retro-actively cloned in a transporter accident, whereupon he felt the need to differentiate himselves.

They are releasing the original series bridge crew too, and they look great. Pre order is in a couple of weeks. My only gripe is the bases. I'd prefer slotta bases so that I could easily cut them off and use clear bases.

LOL. Will Riker leans when he walks and turns corners. In fact, he's always leaning on things. That must definitely be him in the back (pre-beard).

Remember folks, the series was filmed back in the day when cell phones were the size of those bricks they are carrying… ;-)

And that Data figure could also pass as Nicholas Cage… ;-)

I like these, and I would say they ARE recognisable..the only one I hesitated over was Riker, by a process of elimination, and that's probably because there is less in the way of distinctive appearance for the designer to get a handle on.
These would be a pleasure to paint, and my only slight gripe would be that while they are good as individual portraits they dont necessarily sit well together as a group. They are engaged in different activities, and with poses ranging from relaxed to dynamic.
The same applies to the original series set. Personally I'd prefer generally more neutral poses.
Generic crew would probably be more useful for gamers.

Now to find a set of rules to use with them…

You can use these rules to game just about any sci-fi movie or television series you'd like.

Catoblepas29 May 2017 10:22 a.m. PST

If these models are supposed to represent early-TNG, why is Data carrying around one of the post-tng 3b phaser rifles?

That seems like a pretty big error.

Norrins07 Jun 2017 1:21 p.m. PST

These are now available to pre order at the princely sum of £39.99 GBP a box set 💰

Ghostrunner07 Jun 2017 2:21 p.m. PST

Yikes…
