Lovely nellies

Those are beautiful!

While taking that in, my mind wandered off track. How do they get those wooden howdahs up there? I don't see anything an elephant could wrap his trunk around to lift. A crane, perhaps, or block and tackle? So, lift howdah (manpower or elephant power?), move elephant into place, lower howdah, run around buckling, tying, and latching everything, so the whole thing is secure, then mount up?

Sorry.

Has anybody done this for their camp diorama/base?

I love the detail on the elephants, particularly the ears. Great work!

cheers. I am sure they used a clever method of getting the howdahs up there.
