Right until you look at the success rate of 3d printers from Idiegogo and Kickstarter. Making a prototype and successfully making finely calibrated mass produced machines at an optimistic price point are different things. |

One thing going for it – its being produced for a real company that has a considerable presence in the market place. However, it has a tiny print volume – 120mm (about 4.75 inches) diameter, not square and 120 tall. It looks like they are trying to lock in customers before the factory making them in China releases the same thing on the general market. The nearest equivalent for size is something like the 'Mini Fabrikator V2' from Hobby King selling for around $US180. |

Nuts. I did not see about the small print size. I was hoping to print off 28 mm buildings. Does not look like it will work for that. |

Ots Cura software for sliceing which as I undersrand is good but a bit recnical. The fact that they recommend Simplify 3D which s half the price of the printer again takes the edge off it quite a lot. |
