for some reason the marching types are nothing like as good as the advancing figures |

Did ACW carry muskets in the right arm? Us Naps fans are constantly fighting against manufacturers doing that with Naps – left arms please. But I do not know ACW drill |

Yeah but nothing like that, shoulder arms would have a finger hooked in the trigger guard and arm straight, right shoulder shift would have the rifle butt cupped in the right hand and musket restin on the shoulder. They have never held a musket with a bayonet and felt how unbalanced it can be. |

@ Marc ACW drill calls for a 'right shoulder shift'. Other than a couple of guard mount(?) positions there are no positions for the left shoulder. Baccus and Pendraken get that wrong with their figures (maybe others), although Pendraken makes a couple of packs to 'correct' the issue. |

Other than a couple of guard mount(?) positions there are no positions for the left shoulder. Depends what drill you are using. 1: Hardees is Right Shoulder based. 2: Gilhams is left shoulder based. I can't seem to figure out what this one in the photo is… |

These figures seem elongated as if the original picture was stretched in photo shop. The poses are not at Right Shoulder shift nor do they appear to be at shoulder arms or support arms. |
