Wow! I'm not sure I like the crystals, but I sure love the way he carved the stone and reinforced the columns with dowels. I'm definitely putting that on my bucket list. Dan |

I'm not entirely sure myself. The crystals don't blend with the rest that well, they need something to do that, perhaps around the base of them. The water is the wrong color for the purple light look… The crystals also don't have that much of a size variety, being only massive rather than also smaller ones that could be worked into the walls and other places. |

These critiques are kinda funny…I could only wish to do something half this cool! Thanks for sharing it. I would LOVE to play on a board like this! |

I like the contrasting colors. Awesome, just awesome. Perhaps the water is the wrong color, I didn't notice. Maybe there's phosphorescent bacteria in the pools, dunno. Very nice. |

@The Bibliophile My main thing with it is that it looks like the crystals were just plopped down in a more standard cave board with nothing really done to blend them in. I really like the cave look, it's more that the fantastic elements don't match in with the rest…which is why I assume that the crystals are separate terrain elements rather than part of the board. I would really like some lit up crystals like that though. @Mazim C Gatling The color for the water would work better without the crystals being lit up. Or if the pools could actually be lit up, they might work better… |
