After hearing great things about them, I placed my first order with J&M Miniatures on Monday May 8th and to date haven't seen or heard anything from them (besides a receipt). On their site the order is listed as "Unfulfilled". I verified that my payment went through and all seems fine on that front.

Has anyone heard from Martin and company recently? I know they made it out to Hotlead in March. I'm not in any panic for the books I ordered, but found the radio silence and lack of replies to e-mails a tad odd. I do hope all is well with them and said books are just on backorder (although an indicator that that was the case would have been appreciated).

I have never had a problem with J&M however I have had to wait quite a while to get orders fulfilled from other online stores when product has been out of stock.

I have only bought from J&M at conventions and have had good luck with them. Hopefully everything pans out for you.

Strangely no, I never did receive a reply to my e-mails. About three weeks after I placed my order (for two books) I got a partial refund notification without any explanation for what it was for. Shortly thereafter I received my order minus one book which left me to assume the other book was not available at the time.

I was happy with what I received (a copy of Muskets & Tomahawks) and ended up ordering a PDF of the missing book (Sharp Practice 2) direct form the Lardies website so all worked out in the end. I was still a bit perplexed by the radio silence from J&M though.

I have not heard back from them either; despite repeated attempts at contacting them.

The Facebook page appears to be down?

Yet, the website is still up and appears to be active for anyone who wants to send them money.

Of course they owe me some sets of figures …
