any one know of a website that has a downloadable WW 1 German flag? I tried War Flag but they no long have WW 1 or WW 2 German flags. |

You can find many flags among the .svg images on Wikipedia, e.g. the page List of German Flags. To make a sheet of printable flags, I have to convert the .svg files into a different file format (.jpg, .png, etc.) before I can copy/paste a zillion of them into a draw program. A nice thing about Warflag images is the printed "texturing". Flags made from pure-color drawings like the Wikipedia images will look a little too bright and plain as printed, and would probably benefit from some weathering if used as flags. - Ix |
