Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the Netherlands.

Better late than never!

Slightly later this month and only one model (since commissions!) but here we finally have the T-80B in 144th!

Again, thanks to UsmanK in particular for managing to find me some technical drawings (which were much better than I could have found myself!)

Despite being spoiled for walkthroughs, this proved to be quite difficult, and with the turret especially, I ended up having to go more by eye (and from the T-64, with which the turret has many components!) than I would like… On the other hand, like the T-72, even the experts cannot agree what shape it is, so I'm in good company!

I went with the armour plate rather than the splash plate, since this seemed more common, though at least two walkarounds labelled T-80B (and the technical drawing) showed the v-shaped splash plate.

I will be down at Partizan this weekend for anyone approximately in the area, as per usual with the KB Club (where I will be doing 144 sci-fi).

Next month's release is currently slated to be the T-80BV.

I may do the T-80U and further variants of that at some point down the line, but at the moment, I need to try and keep stuff relatively short, since I still have commission work to do (ad I would dearly like to get my starship rules actually published before Other Partizan in August, after 15 years!) So aside from the aforementioned nominal plan, we shall have to see how we go!
