Well,… we liked it!

The game felt a lot more fluid.

We liked the blitz and follow me rules that actually introduce an element of uncertainty/push your luck a la Black Powder. Not only that, it allows you to reposition your troops before shooting without them being considered "moved". So you have no fire penalty and your opponent needs to be a bit more cautious. I think it somehow alleviate the absence of opportunity fire. Somehow.

-more fluid
-more tactical options
-a bit less clutter
-better bombardment rules
-better smoke rules
-assault was ok, it felt ok, not super exciting or clever, ok.
-infantry is a lot more useful
-the light tanks zipping around super fast (up to 30 inches with blitz!) were actually very interesting: a bit less a physical simulation and a bit more tactical game were assets have a certain purpose that actually fit their role

The rules and tables are a bit all over the place and we will need to print some of the tables for faster access. But yes, a lot lest clutter and we were able to dive in very quickly.

So we were very nicely surprised (2 games so far).
