Anyone know if any of the 3mm manufacturers have plans to produce a line of Medievals including Mongols? |

I think I saw someone make a 3mm army using grains of rice once. Dan EDIT- Never mind. Grains of rice are too big for 3mm. Must have been 6mm.

Might be something you could do on a 3Dprinter. I imagine the models would be units, so basically boxes with bumps for heads? |

Irregular has a decent Ancients and Renaissance ranges in 2mm |

I guess you guys have not seen the work of Magister Militum and OO. A lot more detail than you would think. |

I've done some of the Magister 3mm for Dux Brit/Saga,lovely wee figures. I use Irregular 2mm for bigger battles. If I can work out how to post photos I will :-) BTW 3mm figures are a perfect match with 6mm buildings so ideal for skirmish type games |

3mm skirmish? You are a madman! 😀 |

YogiBearMinis. You're not the first to have said that :-) |

kodiakblair, I would love to see photos! Small scale skirmish is one of my fantasies… couple of 28mm "large skirmish" rules propose a figure to man ratio of 1:5, you could easily have a 1:1 ratio in 3 or 6 mm (not indiviually based, of course. of course?). That would give the perfect feel for dark age warfare on the British Isles, for example… |

Any updates on 3mm medieval availability? |

Stever, neither of those companies make medieval figs that I have seen. They are nice figs, wish they did… |

Irregular doesn't specifically have Mongols, but they do offer Hunnic armies and Arab armies into the Dark Ages. At 2mm, I'm not sure that they wouldn't work. |

Also, you might be able to use some of the Roman era 2mms from Antonine or Lasercast. Antonine is available through Warbles. |
