Now that I'm able to sit for longer periods of time I thought I would like to come up with some posters for SF, PA and other alternate history games (perhaps even zombies!). My purpose is for these to be shared freely among all gamers. I might not be able to return to most of my gaming and modelling tasks, but I can live vicariously through yours. :) Here is the first 3 posters, of what I hope will be many more. Enjoy and please let me know if the lettering, artwork and weathering comes through well when printed down to your figure size/scale. Dan PS. If you have any special requests or suggestions, please let me know also. Thanks.

Very sharp.Very depressing but very well done. |

Nice. How about election posters: A vote for Chang is a vote for Change! Propaganda posters: Loose lips decompress ships (image of a star ship) And product posters: Sola-Block Sun Screen, Now SPF 2750 |

Terrement, Local resistance leaders, I like that! Though those would probably be more monochrome, due to their lack of sophisticated printing capabilities, wouldn't you think? Perhaps something like this below? Dan PS. This might even work for an alien invasion too, right?

At some level, I think I want to show the printing tech resource setback both sides would suffer (not to mention paper shortage). That's probably why my posters are starting to look a lot like some of those of the Monroe Republic: /0/]link Dan |

"Cannibalism will not be tolerated" "Obey" "Consume" a.k.a. They Live style… |
Patrick Sexton | 18 May 2017 9:32 a.m. PST |
"Cannibalism will not be tolerated" OK, that is brilliant. |
Cacique Caribe | 18 May 2017 10:45 a.m. PST |
"Cannibalism will not be tolerated!" Maxim, that is indeed pure genius! Dan PS. Perhaps cannibalism and body trophies, such as heads, hands, fingers, etc? |

People… People who eat people… Are the luckiest people…. |
Cacique Caribe | 18 May 2017 4:34 p.m. PST |
How's this? A grouping of aged but colorful mundane posters printed with all of today's graphic equipment. But then, they are partly pasted over with less esthetic posters and notices produced by the invaders and local collaborators (local govt). And then these are partly covered by resistance flyers and spray graffiti. How would that look? Dan |
DuckanCover | 18 May 2017 10:16 p.m. PST |
After this- "PS. If you have any special requests or suggestions, please let me know also. Thanks." I was going to say that "You might get more than you bargained for" but, I was beaten to the post by the requests… I await the results of this thread with interest. Duck |
DuckanCover | 18 May 2017 10:20 p.m. PST |
Further to your suggestion though, a couple of variations on the "Danger Mines!" (or "Danger UXO") theme, in ten or fifteen languages… Not being greedy, just an idea. Duck |

Guys, I added a couple more, including one of Maxim's suggestions:
I hope it meets with your approval. :) Dan link |

Not bad. You can slightly strengthen the Marxist component, writing something like this: "Comrade, be conscious! Do not give in to animal instincts!" "All to fight cannibalism!" "Comrade, remember – cannibalism – the path to degradation!" |

UsmanK, Marxism and its absolute control of production is what led to widespread cannibalism in 1920s Soviet Union, again in 1933, and then the exact same thing later in 1960s Peoples' Republic of China: link Dan |
Vostok17 | 21 May 2017 1:11 a.m. PST |
Hello, Cacique Caribe! Well, cannibalism was not welcomed – it was shot for this. I just brought a few changed standard Soviet slogans (like "All to fight typhoid" or something like that). |
Cacique Caribe | 21 May 2017 2:38 a.m. PST |
How about, "NEVER eat a comrade (or fellow proletariat)". Or, perhaps, "IF you must eat someone, make it a capitalist". :) Dan PS. By the way, I've added a couple of other ones to the folder: link |

Vostok17 | 21 May 2017 11:52 a.m. PST |
Hello, Cacique Caribe! The first slogan ( "NEVER eat a comrade (or fellow proletariat)") is quite suitable. "Capitalist" – will not do. In the Soviet "poster language," the "сapialist" is a very fat man in a dress coat, with a cigar and a cylinder. Here, in meaning, either an appeal to consciousness (implied proletarian consciousness) or a severe warning. |
Cacique Caribe | 21 May 2017 11:56 a.m. PST |
UsmanK, I'll come up with something with the first slogan then. Thanks! Dan |
Elenderil | 24 May 2017 2:33 a.m. PST |
Those are really good, and chillingly believable. How about some rumour control posters? Or blaming the resistance for poor living standards. On the lines of "Terrorists are taking your future. The resources we waste fighting them could be used to make your life better. Shorten the fight tell us who they are". |
Cacique Caribe | 24 May 2017 7:53 a.m. PST |
Ooo, good idea! QUESTION - What size should a typical propaganda-size poster be for 28mm and for 15mm? Dan |
Cacique Caribe | 25 May 2017 2:55 a.m. PST |
Well I'm kinda getting that question answered here: TMP link For example, this iconic 1942 poster was originally produced as a 40" x 29" sheet:
link For based 15-18mm figures the poster would be half an inch tall or so. More or less double that for "28mm". Dan PS. I would imagine that those made by a resistance group would be plainer and printed in smaller dimensions. Soon I should have enough variants to combine all of them onto a single printable sheet: link |
Cacique Caribe | 25 May 2017 5:49 a.m. PST |
NOTE: I Googled "miniature propaganda posters", and found some poster combos that others have already put together and that I don't need to do again. link link link warosu.org/tg/thread/30111850 link Check out the ones at the very bottom of these pages: link link And these could be glued on and weathered, to show all the leisure time and products that past generations enjoyed: link link link Dan |

@Elenderill: "How about … blaming the resistance for poor living standards. On the lines of 'Terrorists are taking your future. The resources we waste fighting them could be used to make your life better. Shorten the fight tell us who they are'." How do you like this one then? Dan

These are great. In case you are looking for more ideas! Resistance is not futile. Take the fight to them (with a picture of armed man and woman standing over destroyed robot). Don't take the blue bill. Fight for her future! Over the picture of a cute child. The future is ours! Report homo sapiens to the authorities. Report to the indigenous population processing center. Food and medical care awaits you there. You will be assigned a position in the reconstruction corps. Diligent efforts are honorable and will earn you a position in the new order. |
