Had these lying about for some time, re-furbished and re-based them. They join three other armies of 40K figures, Tyranids, Eldar and Orks. Might plan a campaign now…hmmm.

Nice job! What's your army composition? I did the same thing with my old Imperial Army figures: Mostly shooters with heavy weapons troopers as artillery. Also, Ogryn and Commissar as heroes. Oh, and jetbikes as flyers and a speeder as an airboat. |

I love the armies which can be made for HotT but as with DBA I want more than 12 elements so increased the size of my armies to 24-30 elements. Works great. Thinking of making opposing 3mm SF armies with 48-60 elements. IMHO HotT is one of the better sets of rules around. I even have a set using ships/planes for WWII naval actions |

Yup, HOTT is an extremely versatile set of rules and the GW figures from Fantasy and 40k fit nicely. I bet there are a lot of folks out there who have the figures but haven't used them since they or a family member gave up Warhammer in its various guises. |

Brilliant idea, well-executed – and it looks very good fun. HotT players seem endlessly inventive when it comes to repurposing figures and building their forces. I always enjoy seeing this kind of project. |
