Interesting BatRep. Thank you. I thought Firefight was Mantic's small, skirmish scale rules (akin to the new Shadow War: Armageddon) while Deadzone and Warpath were for larger, 40K-type engagements. |

Yep.. Firefight seems to be an equivalent in terms of scale of action to 40K. Warpath is similar to Epic… Haven't used Deadzone.. but I THINK it's a lower scale than Firefight? R |

Dead zone= think necromunda/Shadow war. Warpath= think 40k 3rd+ edition at 3000pts/side. Firefight= somewhere inbetween I think. |

I've been playing Firefight for a couple of months now and I love it. Using the Command system to issue various orders gives the game a nice feel and adds a bit of uncertainty. Nothing hurts more than creeping behind that Iron Ancestor which just activated giving it a blast only to have it refresh, reactivate, turn around and give you some serious hurt. (Yes my guys found that out the hard way). |
