For some time, I have been stuck in a fantasy rut. It puzzles me. I am definitely not a fantasy-only gamer. But I seem to only be making progress on my fantasy projects.

I got tired of tripping over my boxes of dungeon tiles, so I've started painting them. Many done, many many more to go. I do these a few at a time to avoid going further insane.

I also based the last of my Wood Elves. I can never remember what the official name of this army is. Mongoose sold them under one name, and Rebel changed the name when they bought the range. "Wood Elves" is good for now.

Other than that, doing a lot of organizing of stuff. Throwing away dried-up paint bottles. Finding more figures I forgot I had.

Focus has always been a problem for me, hard to stick to something long enough to get it finished.
On the plus side, however,I seem to stick to the same circle of interests and will eventually complete another circuit and try again.

I think I need to 'spend more time' with my theoretically ongoing historical and sci-fi projects, to get excited about them again. wink

Sometimes I 'get stuck' when I am putting off assembling some fiddly figures or painting something challenging or coming up with new terrain…

I have a net drop of about seven projects in the last year/year and a half. (Sold or gave away 9 and picked up 2.) And I only have 24 castings on the "buy" list, so there's progress, but after finishing US, French Italians and 8th Army for WWII MENA, I've almost stalled for three days half-way through the Afrika Korps. Got to get back to the table.

It would all go faster with regular opponents.
