A: A set of Frontier Light Horse with Command (Buller being a sculpt)Mounted and dismounted. B: A line of Ashantis, musket armed, sword armed, with command, PLUS regular British Infantry from the 3rd Ashanti War in their unofficial homespun grey uniforms C: A set of Natal Native Horse (Basutos, etc) Mounted and dismounted D: The " The Man Who Would NOT be King" line of Peary, Divot and Willy Pescado the Gurkha, plus a unit of Martini armed Kaffiristanis. Maybe even primitive, spear and shield, mask wearing rivals as well. E: All of them! I demand them all! Dont answer here, its just a poll suggestion |

would immediately buy Ruga Rugas and Belgique bare -legged Askaris, but Smokey's list of A,B and C would also have appeal. |

One big gap in the market awaiting an enterprising manufacturer is 15 mm kit for rules such as Congo and Death in a Dark Continent. Particularly, there is a need for someone to make 15 mm scale African animals. Personally, I would also like to see Essex Miniatures round out their very limited but quite beautiful 15 mm colonial Ranges e.g. Sudan Camel Corps on foot in action poses, dervishes in 1880s dress. And for Zulu war, Natal native corps foot and Basuto mounted rifles. With just a few additions like this, they could make the Ranges far more attractive. |
