… specifically, in terms of miniature support items? So not like other polls about technology in the game, what are you anticipating to help you on the hobby side? I suppose this question assumes you enjoy the assembling part of the miniatures hobby and are not just looking for a faster, more local, and cheaper way to have your miniatures painted and based, but are looking for a way to get more out of the crafting stuff you enjoy. Since I am a big figure modder, this thread reminded me that I am waiting for technology to give me a better precision, hand-held cut/join tool. |

Affordable laser cutter. There may well be one available for home use. I haven't had the time to do the research. DM |

I'd like a laser cutter as it would cut down the effort on making buildings which I could also sell locally when I retire. |

Micro Mark has a laser cutter for $2,000.00 USD USD depending on what you consider affordable. It also includes a 1000 Watt step up/step down transformer so you can use 220v/240v or U.S.A. standard 110v/120v tools. They have a very extensive line of miniature power and hand tools for modelers. Their catalog is a scratch builders candy store. |

I would also like a VR paintbot. I see the model in a 3D VR headset, scaled up many times (variable). I get my "paintbrush" tool and paint the figure like it was a canvas. Paintbot reproduces my actions in miniature on the real thing. |
