… Most Audacious General . "General George S. Patton, Jr. died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost seventy years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident—and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton takes readers inside the final year of the war and recounts the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

A below average history of WW2 with little to no exploration into his death. I thought there might be some insight but no there was little to nothing that they added to the conversation. |

The point likely is that most folks read zero books on history. Maybe some of the folks who do read this one and the book on the Pacific (which I enjoyed) will read more about it? That would be a good thing. Thanks, John |
