Hi guys, A few weeks ago a customer contacted me to ask if I could make him some 15mm scale flexible Tarmac roads for WW2 Europe. Flexible Dirt Roads and Desert Roads have been available for a while, but I'd never made flexible Tarmac roads before. Well, after a litte experimentation, they're now ready to roll and will be going live on my wesbite in a couple of days. Initially in 15mm scale, but they'll be available in all scales from 6mm up to 28mm. Thought you might like to see a sneak peek with some 15mm WW2 Poles. Somewhere in Normandy, 1944:
As with all my products, they're hand crafted and come fully painted and ready to use right out of the pack. Hope you like them! I'll let you know when they go live on the website: takecoverscenics.co.uk Thanks for looking. John. |

Thanks for the comments! Just to let you all know that the Flexible Tarmac roads will be the same prices as my Flexible Dirt Roads and the Flexible Desert roads. As per the website, you get a set of roads for £24.99 GBP plus shipping, but the amount you get in the set varies according to scale. Junctions (X, Y and T) will also be available. Although not officially available in the online store yet, if you're interested in the Tarmac roads in any scale, please send an email to john@takecoverscenics.co.uk to discuss prices, scales and requirements. Alternatively, feel free to pm me here at TMP or via my Facebook page which can be found at link No pressure or hassle. Cheers, John. |

Looks great, but what are they made out of? I'm allergic to latex, so latex roads are a non-seller for me, sorry. |

They're not latex. They're based on a flexible vinyl product, then built up from there. They're also not poured into a mould – each one is individually hand made, so every road section I make is, quite literally, unique. |
