I'm about to paint a Perry 6pdr "wurst" gun and crew. The few pictures I could find online suggest the leather-covered crew seat was left in place on the gun when firing. Is this correct? Or was it lifted off? |

With no recoil integral to the gun itself, there was no reason to remove the seat. So yes, the seat remained on during firing. |
