I have since gone back and added detail, little flock on bases, etc. And the BA Dreads in the front row are now in a darker tactical rust/red-brown …

Always liked dreds' in SM – I have an entire company of the metal ones (based on the original WD army list), not sure they were much use in game terms. Had only a few robots – liked the Conqueror best. |

Yes, I have them with IG, SM, Squat, CSM and Cultists forces. I just took new pics with the bases flocked, detail added, colors adjusted, etc. I'll post those at a later time. GW dropped Robots after SM2/TL, IIRC. But we still use many of the original SM1 Organization Templates. Which we found to be very good. Especially compared to the later versions. I tell guys they can use Robots with Dreadnaught stats. I have 4 Maniples of the Plastic 'bots.
And 3 units of the Plastic Dreads which came out with SM2.
Plus 5 units of the old original metal dreads like in the pic. I can't believe GW dropped Robots !  What is Sci-fi without 'bots !? |
