Hi All,
I should know the answer to this, but all the shops I used to know carrying military or even fantasy items in Brussels.. wargames style or even larger military figures..seem to have closed long ago (Figs, Heaumerie de la Casque d'Or, Petit Soldat de Plomb, etc. etc.)
Are there any shops of interest left in Brussels where the visitor can get a fix these days??
Thanks
C

Besides Games Workshop in rue du Lombard there is the '16 Escadron' in rue Pere de Deken in Etterbeek (inside the small shopping centre) but this is mainly model kits. Otherwise I know of nowhere in Brussels. The Army Museum is still worth a visit and of course Waterloo is down the road.

If you find anywhere else then let us all know.

Many thanks Wargamorium, it is as I feared. If I come across something I shall be only too happy to share.

I guess as in many other places traditional wargaming shops have transmogrified into boardgame shops.

It seems that many travellers, whether it be for work or pleasure, are disappointed in getting their fix while away from home.

I solve this quandary by managing some of my trips to a destination with a timely local show.

Hence my trips to Antwerp in November.

I know of one chum whose work conveniently saw him in Brussels during the week of Crisis.

I will be within shouting distance of another local show next month while on holiday with the family although this was an accidental occurrence.

How many others have managed to get their fix while working/vacationing?

I daresay most of us now depend on the internet and visits to local shows.

Dédale 138-140 rue Gérard 1040 Bruxelles is one of those classic boardgame shops, a stone's throw from the Army Museum and not that far from 16e Escadron.

Jim,
I have sometimes managed to get to Claymore that way, and once Kirriemuir!!!
