Does anyone know where I can find some 28mm heads that can be used for WW1 early war Germans, please? Covered, ideally.

At the best haberdasheries of course.

Are they sold in pickel jars?

Here are some, tho they have gas masks on. This is all I could find…

Please! If you'd mention the scale you need, I'll bet you'd get a lot more useful answers!

TVAG, He does say 28mm in his question, tho not in the topic… I can't find squat other than the ones with gas masks…

The trick is to convert the helmets with gas masks to just helmets. And put those helmets on the figures from which you have trimed the heads of their current headgear. Or are you dealing with figures that actually have no heads at all?

I bought some of the excellent hinterland assault troops which had the picklehalbe helmets, sliced off those helmets and added British Brody helmets in order to create a British assault troops.

A British assault unit armed with Bergmann MP18s, stick grenades, a mauser rifle and an LMG 08/15 is pretty much guaranteed to provoke comment when you deploy it. What's your rationale?

I forgot to mention that these weapons were a gift from Joe and Magda.
