Hi everyone :) Today's post is related to the Sherden – one of the Sea People tribes that tried to invade Egypt at the end of the second millenium BC. The characteristic pieces of equipment of these men were their horned helmets, on which they added a Sun disk (meant to represent the god Ra) after their incorporation in the royal bodyguard by command of Ramesses II. Here you are a representation of such men on a egyptian relief:
