Nice report. Do the rules use figure removal or stand removal? |

FusilierDan, the system uses what is called Step Losses. Units are rated 1, 2 or 3 steps. We use a causality marker to signify 1 step loss, remove the unit upon loss of the second or third step. RogerC, glad you Guys are digging into the rules. We are picking them up again after a long hiatus. WSS game going on here but GNW is our passion. Watch out Thomas did not complete the Army Lists. Most notably stats for Austra and Bavaria. You can use a published conversion table and the old army list to convert to new rules. Good luck you will have fun with them! |

Cheers dmebust, we are likely only using them for GNW so as long as the listst cover the Swedes, Saxons, Danes, Russians, Cossacks and Poles then we are sorted. I want to be sure about the rules befor we I invest in the lists but initial thoughts are we may go with these. The steps system works I am just not sure he chose the right word. Will need to consider what I replace it with when talking the rest of our group through. Stamina is how a similar concept is considered in black powder and might be a better word for the concept. |

Nice report Roger C. I agree that "steps" is not the best description of what's going on. I borrow from other rules and use "disorder." |
