Looking at doing some skirmish Banana Wars USMC action and have a figure question. Does anyone know if their US infantry advancing figures are wearing leggings, no tunics and could pass as US Marines for the Banana Wars. There are no pics on either website. The figs in question are PIM-06. Any suggestions? I would use them in addition to some of the Brigade Games Caribbean Adventure line.

The OG dismounted Cavalry look close, but are wearing riding breeches and boots or leather leggings.

Russ, if you are out there can you give an other old Jarhead some advice, before I place my order.

As always, thanks for any help.

Good gaming to all,

Sam

THAT was an interesting bug. I wrote a figure finder post for some SF figures and it crossposted it here.

Nothing to see citizen. Move along…

The OG figures are, as you'd expect, kitted out for the Punitive Expedition in long sleeved shirt with leggings on the infantry and stohwasser gaiters on the cavalry. The equipment might be a problem: Springfield rifle waist bandolier for infantry and shoulder bandolier for cavalry. The only MG in the range is the Hotchkiss issued to the cavalry.

The old, Traveller minis pop up from time to time on eBay.

You might check there, since I think I've seen a few in 25mm.

Thanks Henry!
Equipment as to the Springfields and waist bandoliers won't be a problem. Brigade has automatic Weapons and Lewis Guns and Pulp figures even the water cooled M1919A1. The Corps still used the old Colt instead of the Benet Mercier(sp?) that Pershing's troops used. Thanks again for the info. Infantry it will be!
