Finally got around to photographing the line dragoon regiments of my French 15/18mm Napoleonic army. Again most of them are ABs, with some Blue Moon, Warmodelling and minifigs as well. All horses are AB however. They were painted by various painters but mostly by Neil at RBP and Rafa "Archiduque" in Spain. The AB sculpts are fantastic and the foot dragoons are amongst the best IMO. Well, have a nice weekend all! Ps: next up, Line Lancers! Cheers! Erik

Now you should game Eylau. You can use so many of these regts -- just need loads of Russians. |

Really fine, and in my favorite scale too. I find the history of French Dragoon regts. facinating and their uniforms quite handsome. Only wish they had a good home in my collection! Thanks for the photos, John Miller |

Lovely, I have a bunch of dragoons to paint for Sharp Practice, and just wondering what colours work best, so these are great. Tempted by the pink, or yellow, or red.. |

Excellent work! Good photography too. Must get some of the 28mm metal versions done by Perry as I'm short of Dragoons but I must first finish my Saxon cavalry from Black Hussar which have just arrived. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Paul |

Thank you for all the nice comments folks:) Glad you enjoyed it. I have decided to start a blog to have somewhere to catalogue all of them and perhaps give more details about each unit. A friend has said he will help me set it up. Meanwhile I will keep posting the photos here as I get them done. Next: Line Lancers, and after that the heavy cavalry perhaps… The real job will be to do the infantry.. |
