I am still wondering, how many wargamers interested in the FPW are discouraged by the missing bayonets. You show so many historical pictures of the war on your website, all have the soldiers with bayonets.

I have to agree. Gotta have bayonets. I like the Garde Nationale figure that has one!!!

Thanks for the comments – and I completely agree, the bayonets are iconic for this period, especially that deadly looking French one. Eagles of Empire will offer bayonets on a separate sprue, enabling collectors to assemble the miniatures with or without. But, the sheer length of the French bayonet poses some problems in casting that made us opt for this solution.
