I see lots of really cool wheeled 28mm sci fi vehicles carrying the Antenociti label -- the Warthog, the Samsara, etc. -- but nothing on their website except a grav tank and a small scout car. What happened? Did they stop that product line, did someone else pick it up?

It's just that the website is hard to navigate…look under designed for infinity
----you still will not find a Warthog though--I think it has been out of production a while now

Looks like they've dropped off. They were there earlier in the year, so they may just be re-modelling. The only stuff left seems to be in their Infinity tie in range. They have always had a tendency to drop products from their range for no obvious reason.

Hmmm…any advice on a 28mm military utility vehicle? Working on a game project around a unit of local militia/patrolmen, looking for an off-road patrol vehicle that's not too heavily armed. I really liked the Samsara as a converted civilian vehicle, just paint properly, maybe add an MG mount to the top.

That was a nice model.

Khurusan do a small wheeled 'scout car' in a similar style, but if I recall correctly, shipping costs to the UK put me off.

I don't think Samsara was ever in the Antenociti's shop since it was produced for their Forward Base KS and was to become available in the shop only after the KS pledges were completely shipped. Which was mostly last summer IIRC but I think a couple of pledges were still being worked on well into the Autumn. One assumes they haven't gotten around to starting producing them for general consumption yet but I wouldn't rule out that happening eventually.

Several other vehicles that were in the Governance of Technology line were simply dropped when they initially let that line of minis go, probably because it wasn't that lucrative compared to making a deal on creating vehicles that are "Designed for Infinity" -- which BTW reputedly posits unarmed vehicles only. I've never heard that they were sold on to anyone and was somewhat surprised when the three models now in their shop reappeared. Especially since Meerkat (which is a very nice model incidentally) turned up in the GOT section and not in under D4I.

The Designed for Infinity license does not permit armed vehicles, as military armored vehicles breaks the game.

Seriously, even an uparmored Humvee is utterly immune to small arms fire, and there aren't many weapons with the Anti-Materiel trait in the game to bust vehicles with. Kill my one or two antivehicle weapons and your vehicle wins the game for you, but if I kill your vehicle first, you lose. Boring game.
