I have not, the "chalked" term in the title scares me a bit. I have recently had poor performance from Testors Dullcote which coincided with their new packaging (not sure if its a different formula). I tried some other matte sprays (Krylon and an art supply can) with less than stellar results. I then tried a can of Tamiya matte coat and got superb results. I will continue with Tamiya. |

Plastic modellers use SC Johnson's Future / Klear floor wax as varnish. If you need it to be more matte it is said that adding Tamiya's Flat Base to it will make it more matt. 1 part Flat Base + 3 parts Future = really matt 1 part Flat Base + 10 parts Future = matt 1 part Flat Base + 15 parts Future = semi-gloss/satin |
