Sorry the TMP Bug hijacked my topic, so I am reposting: I need help identifying the brand and any additional info regarding these ACW figures. Found them in a box of old assorted figures from a painting pal of mine who has decided to reduce his collection of over 30 years in wargaming. I can't recognize them, and he can't remember their origin. The figures appear to be about 25mm, and have "D S FIGURES" stamped on the underside of base. Some clearly are intended to portray specific ACW leaders like RE Lee and JEB Stuart. They are roughly painted, I am not sure if they are worth repainting, or just post on eBay as is. Thanks for your help, Larry

They are Tradition 25mm, the additional figures added to the Charles Stadden designed original figures in the range, by David Scheinemann (DS). They are still available in the U.K. from Peter Johnstone at Spencer Smith Miniatures. The range is listed on his web site but without pictures – certainly the original Charles Stadden figures, I am not sure if the additional DS figures are included, you would have to look |
