Following up on this thread TMP link Here is a picture of a 1/600 scale Hurricane with No.145 squadron markings. Haven't gotten to the point where I want to apply the flat finish on this one.

Love that, I'd be all over 1/600 versions. I have decals, and I have some model railroad decals for letters, but even my simple plan for roundels and a single letter to uniquely ID each aircraft on one side gave me the twitches to think about all the decaling. Being able to do a better job with just one decal will be a godsend. I know some will want multiple squadrons done for each type in each phase of the war, but I'd be ok with just one squadron per type for each phase of the war. So the BoF/BoB period, then mid-war, then late-war for Hurricanes and Spitfires as an e.g. Desert/Pacific/FAA variants would be a bonus but I can make do without. |

That's a OO Hurri Kevin? I actually don't mind then looking slightly oversize from strict air ministry order scale. The most important things that they can be ID'd |

Great stuff. Where did you find the white squadron letters in white for 1/600. That is awesome. |
