Just completed this large model of a 2 storey hotel for Old West games. I will be adding this to other town buildings for a game of our heavily modified club version of Legends of the Old West on Wednesday. Our amendments give a much more enjoyable game and i will do an AAR to give an idea how they work. In the meantime here are a couple of pics
The figures are mounted on 1p coins. More on the blog here- empiresatwarblog.blogspot.co.uk/2017/04 |

Pretty, but one quibble: why 2 staircases leading down fro the single 2nd floor door? |

I have seen that on buildings in real life and they were not even old west hotels. |

Hi Capncarp, as Brian says they did exist giving easy access from both front and back of the building. I think they look good as a feature. Having said that i could add an additional piece to close of the platform at the top of the stairs giving the option to simply cut one side or the other off leaving just the one side. Sounds like a plan! Cheers. |

Great looking stuff. The front/back staircase also make sense as this building could have been literally inches from the one next to it – meaning a person couldn't easily come down the front stair and walk around to the back of the building. The alleys or space between buildings was often impassible to foot traffic. |
