Hello All!

Any groups or people that play in the DFW TX area? I am looking to get into FoW.

Thank you!

Have you tried going to the Texas Toy Soldier to get a game?

Thanks for the response. TTS is a bit far for me, but was my first thought. I was hoping to see if there was someone more local.

Local to which par of DFW. I know there is a group in west FW, as well as one down in Redoak and up in Mckinney…

I am in between FW and Dallas. I am close to Arlington and North Forth Worth.

I'm in the Mid-Cities and have wanted to learn FOW as well. Don't have all my figures painted yet, but not far off (Mid war Eastern Front, some NW Europe '44). Are you looking to play 3rd or 4th edition?

Offlane03 May 2017 6:53 a.m. PST

I guess 4th edition. I have read that a lot of people are not happy with it, but I prefer to move with the company that creates it.

I do have a copy of 4th, but haven't played it yet. I personally am not an advocate of the cards for 4th edition. As I understand it, you can only get the cards from the boxed miniature sets. (Before someone points it out, I realize you can probably find some online to print out). YMMV
