From The Age of Sigmar Facebook page:
That's right folks – skirmish sized battles are coming to the Mortal Realms. This expansion will make use of the existing range of Warhammer Age of Sigmar minitures, and will be a way to play games with just a handful of miniatures, or with part of a new army as you build towards a larger force.Intrigued? We'll have more news for you soon… Cheers, Xin/Jeff |

Does the D6 mechanic still have legs? …or is it time for something different? |

So it's basically AoS's version of SW:A. Good idea. No indication that GW is going back to 40K 2nd Ed.'s use of polyhedral dice I'm afraid. |

The polyhedrals were in limited use in both 1st and 2nd. And I have stated many times how I feel about slavish adherence to d6's. But they won't change that, even if they could somehow patent a d13, and sell them to you six for $30 USD note: you'll need a lot more than six. |

Very exciting news. I feel lots of draw to these new GW products but haven't bitten into them yet. |

one step closer to the AOS/40K merge So back to the late 80's when models in both systems had the same rules, stats, and points? |
Centurio Prime | 02 May 2017 5:23 a.m. PST |
Why is this one step closer to "the AOS/40k merge", whatever that is? |
Judge Doug | 02 May 2017 6:17 a.m. PST |
Why is this one step closer to "the AOS/40k merge", whatever that is? It's not, and even if it was, good! Just someone being salty, I guess. |
