Arrived yesterday – much anticipated. Initial observations:
Packed with narrative detail, light on detailed battle maps. Absent a detailed OOB (which considering the recent criticism of John Franklin's Osprey trilogy is surprising).
Biggest surprise though (so far) is the fact that Hussey cites Siborne as his source for OOB numbers. Considering Siborne only uses rank & file strengths and so much research has gone into this topic in the last 30 years I find this staggering.
