So watching episode two of band of brothers. Suddenly i see Moriarty as an American radio man.

This needs an explanation.

1. Moriarty is an immortal (day walker or similar)
2. Moriarty had surgery to look like this random American ww2 soldiers(but why?
3. Moriarty is really some sort of American super soldiers made in the 1930s by irradiating people and now he's gone bad.
4. It's just the same actor in two different roles (highly unlikely)
5. Clones!
6. Moriarty was British intelligence infiltrating the American military. After getting shot and presumed dead he was retrieved by nazi scientists made into an evil immoral genius and now he's out for revenge on the country he felt left him for dead.

Moriarty was forced to flee to America in the late 19th century. The rest is superior genetics!

7) A time-travelling escapee from the Holodeck.

The whole time-loop paradox thing is what allowed him to escape in the first place.
