Nothing too major, but a lot of small wording issues were updated in the PDF.

Probably not worth reprinting but go ahead and redownload your files.

If you haven't already checked out NEIS, it's available here for all your cold war and modern day platoon action needs

Thanks for the continued support Weasel. How goes the Dark Souls Project?

I've tried a lot of rule sets for skirmish level Cold War and I think I have finally found my ruleset.

I bought the .pdf on the weekend, printed it off and read it cover to cover yesterday.

This ruleset is just cool, it covers exactly what I want to model as far as suppression and movement as well as weapon systems. The extensive tables around the basic rules covering campaign and scenario errata remind me of '80s RPGs like Recon and Twilight 2000. There's even a table to roll up an operation name! Coolness!! It has that RPG element to it which I REALLY like.

Kinda comforting to know my fictional invasion of Cuba in '88 may result in thermo-nuclear exchange! Will definately add gritty detail to the campaign I already have in my head.

The one thing I disagree with is the author's perspective on war. War is definately cool, the sting of combat, the thrill of victory, it's a glorious endeavour that pits man against man in the ultimate test harnessing the coolest machines ever created. That's why so many are interested in it and these awesome rules were written.

War is definately cool!

So get your battle rattle on, lock n load and push to the objective, ooorah! No End in Sight F'N RULES!!!
