I am looking for some alien bugs that will work well for 6mm. Any manufactures you would recommend. Preferably ones that ship to the US for not too much.

In the USA, try Onslaught link … The Classic range, Denizens & Mercenaries + Xemonites.

And Microworld Kreen link . Microworld carries some of DRM Skyth which are great bugs ! link

CinC/PFC has the SEM line. These guys/"robots" make good Bugs – link They have many other neat aliens but not bugs if that is all you are looking for …

GZG and DRM … but both are in the UK. But there maybe a US distributor ?

No GZG distributor in the states. Just order direct from Jon. Faster than the speed of light and never a problem. Good miniatures!

You might consider plastic ants. Nothing can beat a real bug!

Yes, that is the rub. The postage to the USA from the UK can be pretty costly. I'd like it make a small order from HLS/EW. But the postage does not make it worthwhile. I'd end up paying almost x2 the cost of the models when post is included … frown

Bashy beat me to it. For dirt cheap, go look for plastic bugs at the party store or in toys or party favors in the big box store.

I have ordered from Jon at GZG multiple times. Postage is not terrible unless you plan on ordering a load of stuff. Plus the pound still is fairly low. Those Gzg bugs are nice! I own 150 of them. Painted up like Arachnids. Used Micro machine/Action Fleet Tankers and a Brain bug. I do SST in 6mm. Very cool.

Thanks.

Don't forget Khurasan's Space Demons although website is on maintenance halt at the moment.

Pendraken has a 10mm bug range, I guess they could work jsut as well for bigger critters in 6mm.

Can second (third? Fourth?) the suggestion for dollar store bugs, though they will be rather giant in 6mm.

You can often find lizards and frogs too.
