God Dethroned is releasing the final part of their WW1 trilogy in May with a few tracks released online as a teaser YouTube link YouTube link They play death metal, somewhat reminiscent of Bolt Thrower. the previous two albums (Passiondale and Under the sign of the Iron Cross) are both well recommended if you like "brootal" music. |

And for my Christian brethren, you may want to stay clear of their older albums, since they used to have a pretty fierce anti-christian theme. The WW1 themed albums don't touch on that at all. Go check it out. |

Passchendaele by Iron Maiden is a masterpiece. These are ok but not my cup of tea (I do have friends who listened to Amon Amarth and thus I believe they will like this.) |
