Any recommendations on movies with modern (Vietnam to present) armor?
I have "the Beast" on DVD, and have seen M1 Abrams in some of the super hero movies. Any others? Thanks.

There was an Israeli movie, i think called "kippur", but haven't seen it in a long time so i cant remember how much armor was in it. I think there was another about a tank crew but cant remember the name. Edit: it is called Lebanon, but i haven't seen it.

Well, there were all those Italian spaghetti-WWII movies with modern tanks impersonating Shermans and PzIVs!

There are some tank scenes in Courage Under Fire, with Chieftains mocked up to look like Abrams. The Israeli film Lebanon, mentioned earlier, is focused entirely on a single tank crew and shot exclusively inside the tank. You only ever see the tank (a Centurion) in the final scene when the crew dismounts.

There is a movie on Netflix called Tank 432 that features an FV432 if memory serves.

They also just released a movie called Sand Castle that has some Abrams at the very beginning.

Courage Under Fire is another one that shows some mocked up Abrams up against Iraqi armor in flashbacks.

You can also see modern armor in the HBO series Generation Kill.

Courage Under Fire had a couple quick tank on tank scenes

Behind Enemy Lines had some Russian Tanks

Most movies about Iraq and Afghanistan have the armored trucks and HUMVs

Children of Men had this awesome long shot battle at the end with some British tanks.

There's also the tank chase in Goldeneye!

IMO Lebanon was horrible, bending the story to place it all inside the tank was an interesting thought but the characters and dialog were not nearly strong enough to pull that off. You had really awkward and dumb scenes like the helicopter air evac of a wounded guy directly out of the commanders hatch.

Also, it has a definite political agenda so half of the viewers will be turned off by that.

I would avoid.

How about the series "Generation Kill"?

Full Metal Jacket: Walker Bulldog

War of the Worlds (2005), Battle Los Angeles, Godzilla (2014): Abrams

The Japanese Type 90 is in several Godzilla movies.

Three Kings, The Expendables 2: T-72

The "T-72" in Red Dawn is a fake. And the one seen in Fast & Furious 6 is made up.
