And did you go insane?  I bought a few of his ACW recently, I didn't realise they were multi part figures and pinning, glueing and green stuffing gaps has been very irksome. The sculpting is perfectly good, but the modularity seems unnecessary to me, and makes building plastic figures a relative joy. I'm glad I didn't order a whole load of them, the building work would have driven me to tears! |

I bought several figures awhile ago, had problems from the start. The pins on the arms and bodies are too small, hats got in the way, and needed trimming. Haven`t bought anymore. |

No problems with the 10mm line very nice figures for that scale actually. Built a Parthian army. The horse archer sculpts were better than some 15mm and very animated. Rider and horse molded as one, no pinning or gluing necessary. |

I've not done the 10mm, but I do have a decent number of his old Settlement cave people. |

Hi Frothers did it and ran away, Im sorry that you had trouble putting together our ACW miniatures. Most of our ranges are not multipart, but a couple are. The 28mm ACW range is one of those. Figures have three or four pieces and have pins attached for most joins so should only require a small amount of modelling. Over the years customers have sent me photos of the their collections, so I have attached links for a few of those. Personally I just use Loctite precision superglue. Our miniatures are carted around shows and have never had breaks, though I always handle my miniatures by their bases. I always glue the miniatures together before priming. I wouldn't mix superglue. Epoxy will also work fine. Multipart miniatures are there where there are two planes on a miniature. This allows for moulding and casting where it would not be possible due to the two planes. e.g. weapons and arms face north south where legs face east west. I hope that makes sense. Our ACW range has 50 torsos x 50 legs x 150 heads allowing for endless variation, including the creation of units that may not otherwise be produced. Company K the zouave unit of the 69th NYSM, is one such unit a customer created in one of the photos below. This was achieved by mixing zouave torsos, with confederate legs and havelock heads amongst other things. I am always happy to help if I can, just email me if you have problems.
