Just spotted this on the Perry Facebook from the stuff they had at Salute:
That will make some of us very happy indeed :) |

Great. Got to be better than the Wargames Factory ones which were probably their worst release (shame because their infantry to go with were pretty good). Looks like next year's project. |

Those do look beautiful. I could be seriously tempted by these. |

Wow, those are beautifully sculpted. |

Yeah, these are going to be conversion gold :) @Vigilant: I have to disagree about the WGF Zulus. For my money their British were worse than their Zulus; tubby bodies with stubby little arms and melon heads. The Zulu bodies were at least in proportion. Neither set was great, though. Unless you meant Warlord? Their (very nice) British are better than their Zulus IMHO. |

I agree, WF Zulus are fine for me, but their British are…functional. I have every intention of getting Perry's new British to replace them! |

I hope to get about three boxes of these to add to my Warlord horde. Wonder if there will be a free figure offered for bulk deals? |

Bit early, but that's normally what they do :) Would guess there might even be combo deals that include both British and Zulu boxes, and maybe some Renedra terrain. Worth noting that this kit is good for a much wider time period than either British box. Aside from set pieces such as Blood River and the A-Z War, there were several Zulu civil wars during the century and a lot of raiding. And it looks to be a good base kit for converting to other tribals. |
