My French and Indian War project progresses with some more British troops, this time from Blue Moon Manufacturing. Lots of pics on the post.

I like Blue Moons line. What rules are you planning to use for these guys and your other like projects?

Thanks for sharing.

We've been playing around with several sets of rules at our club -- Metropolitan Wargamers. Muskets & Tomahawks has been our go to choice as it works well for scenarios large and small. We've also tried Song Of Drums & Tomahawks which has a great press your luck mechanic but involves a lot of dice chucking, so it's best for small scenarios. I also have Sharp Practice, Black Powder and Buckskins & Rangers, all of which are waiting to be tried out.

Very nice but some quick suggestions:

Officers coats were a brighter red – so that would include the guys with the espontoons and the ensigns. The officers should also have metal lace on their coats, waistcoats, and hats (I forget what color their metal was).

Not sure why you put the sergeants in white breeches?

If these are to represent the 44th at Braddock's Defeat their small clothes should all be a whitish grey to represent the osnaburg small clothes (versus the usual wool) they wore for that campaign (only).
