I really like the thin round bases. They are so less obtrusive than the thicker variety. Where did you get them and how thick? They look like perhaps 1mm compared to the usual 3mm represented by the square variety. |

The thin round bases are cast with the figures. This is how Baccus produce support weapons teams, such as the infantry gun and machine gun illustrated above. Trench mortar teams are cast on strips, like the infantry. Nicely done! Robert |

Very cool, that's a very impressive looking force! I agree that thin bases look nice on the table, but personally I find that the smaller the model the more important it is players be able to pick them up by the base. And that needs some thickness. Also when you're playing the game your eyes are very rarely as low down as the camera angle in the beauty shots, so the thickness is less apparent. May I ask what rules you intend to use them with? |
