Has anyone tried playing March Attack (Crusader) using 28mm minis? We have a large collection of minis based for GdB/ITGM. I really like March Attack and had have two games with "stand in" minis (empty bases etc). My thinking is to retool the measurements to fit our collection. Sure it will be a crowded table and it will be a different looking game than what March Attack usually would present.
As a jump of point I would multiply all measurements by 1,5. This would bring most measurements to numbers recognized by 28mm players.
Any thoughts on this?

I think it will work just fine – even better if you have a big table to account for the loss of ground scale, but it's workable.

The default scale of using 2x 40mm bases per battalion gives an approximate ground scale of 1" = 50 yards; if you use 60mm bases that will knock it down to about 1" = 35 yards or so. Your engagement zone on an average table will still be fine, and if you use some imagination with off-table strategic movement you should be able to account for the lost ground.
