A couple of months ago someone posted a like to the current army wargame used by the army. I thought it was here but going through old messages I guess it. Could someone with better googl-fu than me (I'm looking at you tango" could post the link |

I suspect the most "current" one is for North Korea, with Iran included as a sideshow, just for grins. Of course, civvies won't have access to it/them. |

No thats not it. Those are the reports writen after the wargame was played. What i was looking for was the link to the rules. All i remember is that it had rules for combat, weather, national moral . It also had modifiers on fighting ability with us and nato +1 over near peers russia japan prc np rth korea. But rhanks for trying |

Mikeda, Most of the "professional" games I've seen tend to be either poli-mil BOGSATs or complex computer driven events requiring a small army of contractors and technicians to make run. If you've seen something else I'd be very interested in taking a look at it as well. The last manual, i.e., non-computer, wargame I'm aware of is "First Battle" from the 1980s which IIRC John Curry is offering as part of his wonderful History of Wargaming offerings. Mike |
