Here is the Kataphraktoi that I sculpted. He could be used from the Thematic through the Comnenian period for a Tagmatic cavarlyman or as a Dynatoi nobleman. I cast him using procreate putty and a home-made mold made from Oyumaru. Shield is from LBMS as I can't paint that well. He came out pretty good, but not as crisp in the details as a commercial rubber mold would achieve. Horse by Essex.

Ah. I did not know that. Greek is Greek to me so to speak, but I do love Eastern Roman history. Thanks for teaching me something new!
