Looks like the first wave wasn't enough to satisfy demand. I'm not surprised with the number of posts I've read about how cool people think these models are.

I'm not super desperate to get my hands on them so I'll wait and pick some up later. However they are neat enough to do a small force, even just as allies for my other order forces.

I like them, but they looked more Warmachine then High Fantasy.

Ugh, WAY too over the top for my tastes. A very cool look if you could strip off about half the nonsense.

Wait….these are for AOS? WTH? I thought these were for 40k.

Really just combine the 2 rule sets already. It's like the couple in the office that everyone knows is dating but they won't admit it.

I agree, however a large number of people feel differently.

They are pretty steam punk looking but I feel like it is just a natural progression of things from the Old World to Age of Sigmar, much like the Fyreslayers. They were over the top slayers, these are over the top Gyrocopters and the troops that man/build them.

I really like it as a force as naval stuff is often pretty neglected and this adds an element of that to this game.

Because that is the direction GW is going.

Really just combine the 2 rule sets already.

Well GW is headed in that direction.

however a large number of people feel differently.

I think the number is far smaller.

Quite few are 'Temporarily Out Of Stock".

LOL these are amazing and no wonder they sold out!

In 8th edition WHFB there were already many steampunk elements… the steamtank, the various Empire engineers, etc.

As far as combining the 2 rulesets… Obviously they are keeping the backgrounds separate, but bringing both back to using the same core rules is a definite possibility and harkens back to the early days of 40k which used the same rules as WFB.

"a large number of people feel differently."

Raises hand – I love them :)
