Besides Peter Pig and Flames of War, what other companies do WW 1 15mm figures? Also, where in the US can I pick up Peter Pig figures?

Minifigs, Irregular, Eureka, and, I believe, Blue Moon. QRF makes a few pieces as well.

You can order PP from Brookhurst. You can order direct from PP and guarantee that your order will be filled.

If you go with PP. I recommend you order directly from them. They have good service and I've never had a problem with them -ordered several times. If you order from Brookhurst, you usually end up with several items backordered and half the time don't get the backordered items unless you call and reorder. If you're ordering onesies and twosies, you can try Brookhurst at your own risk, but if you're actually ordering enough to do something with, order direct from PP.

Lancashire are BIG 18mm figs and are actually closer to HO scale. Khurusans mix with 15s but do look large, I couldn't mix the Lancashires in with them. Having said that if starting out Lancashire are great figs. As are Khurusan.

QRF range is actually pretty good and offers some gap fillers in the way of vehicles in particular. Also there is the Kalistra 12mm range which is very good and rather large – they may work with early PP.

I placed my first order for PP figures from Brookurst Hobbies in California. I had good service from them, though while they stock all or at least most of the German WW1 line, most of the French line is not available. So I ordered directly from PP and had a great experience there. The order was complete and came pretty fast.

Minifigs and PP match up pretty nicely in my experience.

I haven't seen the QRF WW1 range specifically, but their other figures match nicely with both of the above size-wise.

Haven't seen the Blue Moon figures, but their tanks are quite big. Quite nice, but don't mix with Peter Pig.

My WWI Russians are mostly Peter Pig and some Irregular. They mix fairly well.

I mix Minifigs and PP interchangeably, the QRF guns fit in fine too. I've also used a load of BF horse carts for transport.
